Air compressor auto drain silencerThey seem to work okay. They are a lot smaller than I thought they would be.Perfect for muffling our air pump bleed valve! Fits perfectly! They seem to work great and dampen the exhaust noise from my homemade pneumatic power hammer. Definitely would buy again. It's sure made my compressor run quiet but choked it out so much that the compressor ran continuously and wouldn't stop trying to reach my pressure setting. Once I looked at it closely, the whole baffle is closed off. Not sure how it's supposed to let air out or in. You could take a plug or cap your motor intake completely off and get the same effect.Very nice silencers, work well for my pneumatic power hammer. The fit was perfect! Worked as it shouldI installed an exhaust muffler a while back to quiet down the auto-drain of my shop compressor. Over time these become dirty and must be cleaned or replaced... Buy several if you are buying them to start with.I received these 1/4" npt mufflers however they weren't the 3-slotted as pictured. What I received only has 2 slots per axial position and they are only 2/3rds the length.
