Finally had the chance to install this on my 04 Dodge Ram 1500 RWD . Installation relatively easy considering I have no lift and just a hydraulic jack with jack stands. I ended up using pieces of 4x4 wood cut into 3ft lengths to raise my frame and get the distance between the body and axle for the install. I also re-wrapped the swivel valve ends with teflon tape for a better air tight connection. Followed the instructions for assy and installation, pretty straightforward. The hardest part was determining where to mount the schrader valves, which I ended up not doing and just secured them under the truck tucked and coiled near the front of the bed. Easy to reach under and inflate with a portable compressor that I carry under my seat. I plan to install and on-board compressor in the near future, hence my decision to not actually mount the valves as of yet. Inflated the air bags to 35psi and held pressure overnight with no problems. Oh, one thing I did was to test the air bags on my workbench BEFORE I installed them to be sure that the valves on top of the bags were secured, simple test of 20psi only in each. Overall, fairly simple installation, hardest part was the lifting of the frame to get the distance but keep in mind that the bags will compress so even if you dont have the required spacing you can still get the airbags in there. You need the space to properly align the top and bottom but I would imagine that with enough savvy you could do it anyway and adjust the alignment without that spacing. I like it, I ended up carrying 20 bags of gravel in the bed, each bag was 60lbs and I inflated them to 40psi, held great and leveled my truck.
