Air Wars and Aircraft: A Complete History of Air Combat from 1945 to Present | Military Aviation Book for History Buffs & Model Enthusiasts

At first I was a little disappointed but after reading this book more thoroughly I find it very informative. I can only give 4 out of 5 because there are at least 2 incidents that I think should have been in here but are left out. And though the Appendices has US and Russian planes by maker and nicknames and a list of us flights in Vietnam, it does not give you a list of planes by country or conflict that were shot down and how. That would be something I would like to see in an updated version of this book. But I would buy it if you are into air combat and the little know conflicts that have happened since 1949. Just wish it has the Mathias Rust incident in 1987 and the SU-27 Flanker incident of the Baltic also in 1987. Great complement to your military library.
